Final Process Checking Operator Jobs in Newburn at Stannah – Join Our Team!
Stannah have an exciting opportunity for a Final Process Checking Operator (Master) to join the 260 Rail Manufacture team based in Newburn.
This role will involve ensuring that all products meet the highest quality standards before reaching the end customer, maintaining a strong “right first time” (RFT) approach. You will be responsible for final-stage quality checks, working from technical drawings, and ensuring that products meet quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) requirements within a safe working environment.
As the Final Process Checking Operator, you will work a 37-hour working week, Monday - Wednesday 19:45 to 05:45, Thursday 19:45 to 04:45 and receive a 33% shift uplift. This is a permanent role.

Final Process Checking Operator Responsibilities:

Complete work to specification, ensuring a “right first time” approach

Read and interpret technical drawings to verify product accuracy

Deliver products in line with QCD (quality, cost, delivery) targets

Follow health & safety procedures, PPE requirements, and safe systems of work

Collaborate within the team and support continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications
Final Process Checking Operator Requirements:

Previous experience in a manufacturing or quality inspection environment
-
Ability to read and extract information from technical drawings
-
Experience working to fine tolerances and using hand tools for finishing
-
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
-
Good communication skills and a proactive, team-focused approach
