Job description
The Multi Skilled Administrator plays a key role in supporting the Sales Office and wider operations by delivering excellent customer service, ensuring accurate and efficient order processing and maintaining high standards of health and safety. The role focuses on providing a positive customer experience while supporting production planning and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
Safety

Operational
- Process normal and online orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details are correct.
- Save, assign, check, and amend orders as required, ensuring production dates and order volumes align with factory capacity.
- Chase missing orders, query discrepancies, and follow up on outstanding issues to resolution.
- Create and maintain price lists, quotes, proformas, and check pricing accuracy.
- Ensure production schedules and order numbers enable the Operational Lead to run the factory effectively.
Customer
- Deliver outstanding customer service at all times, ensuring customers have the best possible experience.
- Answer incoming calls and emails promptly and professionally, responding to queries and providing accurate information.
- Manage customer inboxes, chasing queries and keeping customers informed throughout the order process.
- Build positive relationships with customers by being helpful, responsive, and solutions-focused.
About this role
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and order processing.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good IT skills, including experience with order processing systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to understand and optimise cutting layouts for flat panels (training provided if required).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to chase and resolve queries effectively.
This is an Office based position Monday – Friday, 08:00 - 16:00 with a 30 minute lunch break.
