Full job description

Yard Hand – Gray Material Handling

At Gray Material Handling we are currently looking for a Yard Hand to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to enter the industry, with strong potential for training and career progression.

Key Responsibilities

Fuel, valet, and inspect machines for any damage
Keep workshop tidy
Carry out basic repairs and painting of equipment
Handle deliveries and organise parts stock
Use an electronic tablet for job management and records
Operate forklifts/telehandlers (NPORS ticket will be provided)

Working Hours

Monday – Friday: 08:00 – 17:00
Weekend work may be required occasionally
Overtime rate: 1.5× hourly rate
Sunday rate: Double time

Requirements

Full UK driving licence (essential)
Willingness to work overtime when required
A proactive and hands-on attitude
