Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Waiting and Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service in a lively restaurant or bar environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Previous hospitality experience is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry while working in a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders using the point-of-sale system
Serve food and drinks promptly whilst maintaining high standards of presentation and hygiene
Ensure guest satisfaction by responding promptly to requests and queries
Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, and surrounding environment
Check identification to verify legal drinking age where applicable
Assist with organising reservations and managing waiting lists during busy periods
Follow all food safety and health & safety regulations diligently
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during shifts

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality, serving, or restaurant roles is preferred but not essential as training will be provided
Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour towards guests
Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions accurately
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
A professional attitude with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holiday periods as required
