The role: The Internal Communications Intern is responsible for supporting the Internal Communications team in the delivery of communications to all colleagues and related projects and campaigns. This will involve drafting and scheduling colleague communications and taking responsibility for administering the smooth running of the internal communications calendar.
Key Responsibilities:
- To support the internal communications team with the scheduling and sending of regular communications such as our weekly operations update (iCommunicate), monthly newsletter (Fulfilling Lives), intranet (MyCareUK) and social media style app (Loop).
- To support the Internal Communications team with regular monitoring of each channel’s effectiveness and gathering colleague feedback.
- To liaise with colleagues around the organisation to gather content to support the Internal Communications team in delivery of the internal communications plan.
- To draft colleague communications with the support of the team.
- Support the Internal Communications team with administrative tasks, particularly in relation to content planning and ensuring communications plans remain up to date.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and tracking logs for internal communications activity, ensuring all documentation is current and well organised.
What We're Looking For:
- GCSE Grade 4 or above in English (or equivalent)
- An understanding of administration, communications or marketing
- Good Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
