Overview
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Alternative Therapists to join our holistic health team. This role involves providing specialised therapeutic services aimed at promoting physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Successful candidates will have a genuine interest in alternative healing practices and a commitment to supporting clients on their wellness journeys. All positions are paid, including internships, and offer opportunities for professional development within a supportive environment.
Duties
- Deliver customised alternative therapy sessions such as oncology massage, lymphatic drainage, colonic hydrotherapy, acupuncture, reflexology, aromatherapy, or other holistic treatments based on client needs
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ health histories and current conditions to determine appropriate therapies
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with professional standards and legal requirements
- Educate clients on self-care techniques and lifestyle adjustments to enhance treatment outcomes
- Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all clients during therapy sessions
- Stay informed about the latest developments in alternative therapies through continuous professional development
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, including hygiene protocols and client confidentiality standards
Skills
- Proven knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively tailor treatments to individual client needs
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen empathetically and explain procedures clearly
- Organised with strong attention to detail in record keeping and treatment planning
- Ability to work independently whilst maintaining a collaborative approach within the team
- Flexibility to adapt treatment plans based on client feedback and progress
- A genuine passion for holistic health practices and supporting clients’ wellness goals
Candidates with a background or interest in anatomy are preferred, as this enhances the ability to deliver effective therapies. We welcome applicants committed to ethical practice, continuous learning, and providing compassionate care.
Pay: £17.00-£20.00 per hour
