We are looking for a reliable and motivated Bar Supervisor to join our front-of-house team at The Croft Country Club in Reynalton, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our bar and restaurant during weekends, evenings and school holidays.
This role is ideal for someone with previous hospitality experience who is ready to take the next step, with responsibility for leading shifts, supporting team members and helping deliver a consistently high standard of service to our guests, customers and holiday park owners.
Key Responsibilities
· Leading the bar and front-of-house team during shifts, ensuring smooth and efficient service
· Supporting and guiding team members to deliver excellent customer service
· Taking orders, serving drinks and assisting with table service when required
· Handling customer queries and resolving minor issues in a professional manner
· Taking bookings and reservations over the phone
· Cash handling and operating the touchscreen till system
· Assisting with stock awareness and ensuring the bar is well prepared for service
· Ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained across all areas
· Overseeing closing procedures and ensuring the venue is left safe and secure
General Duties
· Welcoming and engaging with customers in a friendly, professional manner
· Clearing and resetting tables and maintaining the dining area
· Collecting glassware and ensuring stock is clean and well organised
· Supporting kitchen and bar staff where needed to keep service running smoothly
· Maintaining the outdoor terraced area
· Adhering to health & safety and food hygiene regulations (Level 2 desirable or willingness to obtain the certification)
Requirements
· Previous experience in a bar, restaurant or similar hospitality role
· Confidence to lead a small team and take responsibility during shifts
· Strong customer service and communication skills
· A positive, hands-on attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Must be 18+ due to licensing laws
· Ability to reliably travel to The Croft Holiday Park, Reynalton (SA68 0PE)

The role offers flexible part-time hours including a variety of daytime, evening and weekend shifts between March and November with an increase in shifts available over the busy seasonal periods including school holidays as well as function nights and pre-planned events.

Pay: £13.50-£14.00 per hour
