Full job description

The Job Purpose

To carry out all administration tasks in the Warehouse relating to picking & despatching finished goods stocks to the customers based upon orders and demands from them, predominantly downloading, printing and organising labels from Web EDI. Also to report on stock status for Finished Goods and BO items stored in the Warehouse.

To support the production planning process in areas of administration such as daily SAGE input, forecast upload, data gathering and daily input, supplier forecasting and MRP.

Key Areas of responsibility:

Downloading orders from various customer portals and translating demands into picking schedules, communicating this info to Warehouse team
Predominantly using NiceLabel software to download, print and organise Kanban labels for customer despatches.
Booking in PO receipts for purchased items or services relating to stock
Reporting stock levels, highlighting any discrepancies or mislabels
Accurately carrying out transactions on relevant software or customer portals when necessary
Regular perpetual cycle counting and investigation of discrepancies
Generating paperwork for items being sent out either as a sale or to go out for external operations
Operating a filing system as back up for transactions
Other admin tasks relating to stocks and control including resolving booking issues, incorrect paperwork etc

The Person:

IT Skills and ability to learn new systems and platforms
Analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to communicate with colleagues both up and down the scale
Good organisation skills to manage paperwork/files

Good attendance and time-keeping

Working Hours:

Dayshift: Mon to Thurs - 07:00am - 15:00pm / Fridays only - 07:00am - 12:00pm

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.17 per hour
