Overview
We are seeking a professional and personable Barber/Barberess to join Wolfendens Barbers.
Wolfendens Barbers is a higher end barber shop with a warm friendly relaxed atmosphere all candidates must be of an exceptional standard in all aspects of barbering.Especially scissor work ,due to the nature of the client base this position would suit someone with hairdressing experience this is not essential.
Wolfendens barbers is an appointment based salon so offers flexibility.With current stylist going on maternity leave there will be a large client base to take over.

Duties
- Provide a range of barbering services including haircuts, beard trims, and grooming treatments tailored to client preferences
- Consult with clients to understand their desired styles and offer professional advice
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the work area and tools
- Keep up-to-date with the latest hair styling trends and techniques
- Build strong relationships with clients through friendly communication and personalised service
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently to ensure smooth daily operations
- Promote additional services or products to enhance client satisfaction and business growth
Experience
- Proven experience as a Barber or Barberes, with a strong portfolio of hair styling work
- Must be very competent with all aspects of scissor work !
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English
- Proficiency in various barbering techniques and styles
- Strong communication skills to understand client needs and provide professional advice
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- A friendly, organised approach with a keen eye for detail
- Previous experience working in a salon or barbershop setting is highly desirable
