Full job description

Overview
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Accounts Apprentice to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting their career in finance and accounting who is eager to learn, develop new skills, and gain hands-on experience in a professional office environment.

You will support the finance team with day-to-day bookkeeping and administrative tasks while working towards recognised accounting qualifications and receiving ongoing training and mentorship.

Responsibilities

Assisting with basic bookkeeping duties
Processing purchase invoices and sales invoices
Data entry and maintaining accurate financial records
Assisting with bank reconciliations
Filing and organising financial documents
Supporting the accounts team with general administrative tasks
Helping prepare financial reports and spreadsheets
Learning accounting software and finance processes

What We’re Looking For

A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Good attention to detail
Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office
Strong communication and organisational skills
GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English preferred
Interest in finance, bookkeeping, or accountancy as a career
