Role Definition:
Responsible for assisting the HR Manager with the running of the HR department and support business objectives to implement the HR Strategy On-Site.
Reporting relationship:
This position reports to the HR Manager on-site
Key Responsibilities:
I am responsible and accountable for the full employee life cycle and am involved in all areas of the HR function supporting the HR Manager
I am the first point of contact in the HR department.
I record absence daily , reporting and sharing information with managers as required for return-to-work interviews
I review Short- and Long-term absence making recommendations for OH referrals
I coach and support managers with people policies and processes
I assist with the implementation of HR strategies at site.
I will generate HR Reporting as and when required utilizing data sets to turn insights into actions
I will ensure compliance with ethical standards and understand the requirements for ethical auditing and any other audits requiring HR documentation
I am responsible for management of new OSW into the business, managing accommodation and maintaining a good relationship with landlords
I will ensure employee records and systems are always up to date
I will ensure compliance with weekly site modern slavery targets.
Develop and maintain good working relationships with your team, peers and external bodies
I will ensure exit interviews are completed and recorded on the system
I will provide assistance and support with the recruitment process ensuring all RTW documents are in place.
I will complete HR projects as required by the HR Manager
I will always adhere to Company hygiene standards
I will ensure I comply with the Company Health and Safety policy at all times
I will carry out any other reasonable task assigned to me to meet the operational demands of the site .
I am responsible for leading engagement activities on-site
I will take minutes at meetings as required.
I will promote the employee experience , welfare and benefits on-site.
I will provide holiday cover for the HR Manager as required.
