Hourly Rate: from £12.21 /hour+ roughly £200/month in tips

Key ResponsibilitiesHospitality & Service
- Warm Welcomes: Greet every customer with a genuine smile, managing the seating and floor flow efficiently, especially during high-volume peak periods.
- Order Taking: Confidently guide customers through our food, pastry, and beverage menus, accurately entering orders and processing transactions through our till system.
- Table Service: Deliver hot food, fresh pastries, and drinks to tables promptly and professionally, checking in on guests to ensure an excellent experience.
- Floor Management: Maintain a spotless floor environment by clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables swiftly to minimize guest wait times.
Barista Excellence (preferable but not necessary), training is available.
- Crafting Beverages: Prepare and serve consistent, high-quality espresso-based drinks, specialty teas, and cold beverages to our exact standards.
- Dialing In: Maintain an understanding of grind, extraction, and milk-texturing techniques to deliver perfect latte art and flavor profiles under pressure.
- Station Upkeep: Keep the coffee bar clean, organised, and fully stocked throughout the shift, following strict food safety and hygiene protocols.
Team & Operations
- Communication: Work seamlessly with the kitchen and floor staff to ensure orders are processed correctly and delays are minimised.
- Stock Management: Ensure display baskets and counter areas are beautifully presented and well-stocked with our bakes and treats.
- Opening/Closing Duties: Complete daily checklist procedures, including deep-cleaning equipment, restocking, and ensuring the shop is perfectly prepped for the next day.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Previous experience as a barista (not necessary) or front-of-house team member in a busy, fast-paced café or restaurant environment is highly preferred.
- The Right Attitude: A positive, energetic "can-do" personality with a natural flair for customer service.
- Calm Under Pressure: Ability to multitask and maintain a high standard of service and speed during our busiest weekend rushes.
- Attention to Detail: Pride in cleanliness, drink presentation, and accurate order entry.
- Flexibility: Availability to work a flexible schedule, including essential weekend shifts (Saturdays and Sundays). However we do rotate weekend fairly so you will be guaranteed some weekends off per month.
