Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service in a lively bar environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. This role offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills and work within a dynamic setting, perfect for individuals passionate about the food and beverage industry. All positions are paid and we welcome applicants with varying levels of experience.

Duties

Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and responsibly to customers
Take orders accurately and process payments using the till system
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including organising stock and glassware
Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations at all times
Provide friendly and attentive service to enhance guest satisfaction
Restock bar supplies as needed and monitor inventory levels
Handle customer queries professionally and resolve any issues promptly
Assist in setting up for events or special occasions as required
Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe environment for all staff and guests

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or serving roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable
Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanour
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
Good organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
A responsible attitude towards alcohol service, including understanding legal requirements for serving minors and intoxicated guests
A positive attitude, team spirit, and willingness to learn new skills
