Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and attention to detail. Duties
- Perform TIG welding and other welding techniques on various metals, including sheet metal and structural components.
- Fabricate metal parts according to technical drawings and specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal components.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to guide fabrication processes.
- Conduct quality checks on welded joints and fabricated parts to ensure compliance with safety standards and specifications.
- Assist in the assembly of fabricated components into finished products or structures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in TIG welding and general welding techniques.
- Strong knowledge of <LOCATION> welding standards and practices.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Experience working with sheet metal and performing basic assembly tasks.
- Good understanding of basic maths for measurements and calculations related to fabrication work.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Prior experience in fabrication or mechanical roles is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for specific tasks as needed. Pay: £15.00-£19.00 per hour
