Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components, ensuring high-quality standards are met. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong mechanical skills and experience in various welding and fabrication techniques. Applicants should be committed to safety, precision, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

key Responsibilities:

MIG Welding
Metal Fabrication
Structural Fabrication
Weld and fabricate steel components to a high standard
Read and interpret drawings and specifications
Ensure all work meets quality standards and project deadlines
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
Work independently and as part of a fabrication team
Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal components
Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure safety and efficiency
Conduct quality inspections on completed welds and fabricated parts to ensure compliance with standards
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality output

Skills

Previous experience as a Welder / Fabricator desirable but not essential
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Reliable, punctual, and able to work to deadlines
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication Processes
Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols and quality assurance
