An exciting opportunity for a high-performing Business Development / Sales and Marketing Manager to join our growing business in this newly created role. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a key member of the APT Innovation Ltd team, supporting our ambitious expansion plans across UK & Ireland, Europe, Scandinavia, USA & Canada, as well as further international markets, for our truly unique patented product range.
APT Innovations Limited manufactures a range of innovative products for the leisure industry, serving properties and vehicles including touring caravans, motorhomes, static caravans, and marine vessels.
Our specialist products provide an essential service by efficiently removing water from domestic water systems, helping to prevent freezing during winter months and reducing the risk of stale or stagnant water during periods of non-use in summer.
As an integral part of the APT Innovation Ltd team, you will be entrusted with leading the sales and marketing strategy in close collaboration with the Chief Executive. You will focus on maximising performance within our existing markets (currently spanning 14 countries), while driving customer acquisition and accelerating growth across our global sales territories.
This role offers an ideal balance of strategic leadership and hands-on operational responsibility within a dynamic and fast-growing organisation.
Key responsibilities are summarised below.
Sales and Marketing
- Develop and implement the company’s sales and marketing strategy, aligned with the overall business strategy and growth objectives.
- Lead the commercial strategy for UK & Ireland, Europe, Scandinavia, USA & Canada, delivering revenue growth ahead of the market performance.
- Support and advise the Chief Executive with brand development activities.
- To develop and manage existing and new social media platforms to maximise brand awareness and sales.
- Responsible for all sales and marketing activities end to end.
Business Development
- Research current and potential markets.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and status of competitors.
- Responsible for maximising sales potential through existing customer base, new customer acquisition and expansion into new regions.
- Source new opportunities in line with our business strategy targets.
- Proactively continue to build relationships with existing customers strengthening our market position as their preferred supplier.
- Responsible for revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative.
- Produce reports on a monthly basis for the senior management team.
- Attendance at trade shows (visitor and exhibits), networking and corporate entertainment as required.
Resources and budget management
- Manage sales and marketing budget, maximising return on investment.
- Analyse sales performance and present reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
- Communication & Relationships
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
- Responsibility for managing any 3rd party sales/marketing suppliers.
- Flexible duties
- Periodic travel for short periods of time may be required to meet business needs for example for customer/supplier visits, attending exhibitions etc.
Health & Safety
- Promote and maintain safe working practices at all times.
- Responsibility for own health and safety, adhering to company health and safety policies and practices at all times.
General
- Carry out any other tasks that may be reasonably assigned, within competence and reason.

Pay: £24,579.74-£64,910.17 per year
