Learning & Development Coordinator
22.5 hours - over 3 days based at our head office in Wigton
£30,346-£32,951 (pro rata)
We are looking for a Learning and Development Coordinator to help ensure our staff, volunteers and Trustees have the skills, confidence and support they need to deliver safe, compassionate and high-quality care.
This is a hands-on rewarding role where you’ll deliver training, support professional development and help shape a strong learning culture across the organisation.
What we are looking for
- Experience in a learning development, training or care environment
- Understanding of training requirements within a regulated care setting (or willingness to learn)
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A collaborative and approachable style, with the ability to build relationships across teams
- A genuine commitment to improving outcome for the people we support
What you will be doing
- Supporting staff to develop their skills and progress in their roles
- Identifying learning needs and helping shape development plans
- Coordinate training programmes and work with external providers
- Supporting access to recognised qualifications
- Monitoring training compliance and maintaining accurate records
- Contributing to continuous improvement in the quality of care through learning
