Quality Inspector
Location:Tritton Road, Lincoln, LN6 7QY Full-time Permanent Salary: £16.00 - £18.00 Per Hour.
We're looking for a detail-driven Quality Inspector to join our production team and help us maintain the high standards our customers expect. If you have a sharp eye, a methodical mindset, and pride yourself on getting things right, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods against specifications and quality standards
- Identify, document, and report non-conformances, and work with production teams to resolve root causes
- Conduct first-article inspections and approve samples before full production runs
- Maintain accurate inspection records, test reports, and quality documentation
- Operate and calibrate measuring equipment and gauges
- Support internal and external audits
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a quality inspection or QC role, ideally in manufacturing/engineering.
- Familiarity with relevant quality standard ISO 9001
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions
- Proficient with measurement tools calipers, micrometers.
- Strong attention to detail and the confidence to raise concerns when something isn't right
- Good communication skills — you'll work closely with production, engineering, and suppliers
Nice to Have
- Experience with statistical process control or lean/Six Sigma principles
- A relevant qualification in quality, engineering, or a related field
- Auditor training (internal or supplier)

Salary
Salary is negotiable based on previous experience and the individual’s abilities.
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday 07:30 – 16:30
- Friday 07:30 – 12:30
Note that overtime may be required occasionally based on customer demands and workload. This overtime may be before or after the working hours stated above.
