Fire & Security Service Engineer – Leicester / Coventry / West Midlands
£36,000 – £45,000 basic + overtime, travel time and benefits
Lantern Fire & Security Ltd is continuing to grow, and we are looking for an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer to join our team covering Leicestershire, Coventry, the West Midlands and surrounding areas.
This role will mainly involve servicing, maintenance and fault-finding on security systems, including intruder alarms, CCTV and access control. There will also be fire alarm work included, so fire alarm knowledge and experience would be a real advantage.

The role
You will be carrying out service, maintenance and fault-finding across fire and security systems on a range of commercial and industrial sites. The work is varied and will include systems such as Texecom, Galaxy, Paxton, Hikvision, Gent, Advanced, Kentec, Protec and other leading manufacturers.
The role will be mainly security-focused, but with regular fire alarm work as part of the position.
This role would suit someone based around Leicester, Coventry, Nuneaton, Hinckley, Rugby, Solihull, Birmingham, Tamworth, Loughborough or the surrounding Midlands area.
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone practical, reliable and professional, with good fault-finding skills and pride in their work.
Ideally, you will have:
Experience servicing and fault-finding intruder alarm systems
Experience with CCTV systems
Experience with access control systems
Fire alarm service or fault-finding knowledge
Good customer service skills
A full UK driving licence
The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Good attention to detail when completing reports and job sheets
We are happy to support further training for the right person, especially if you are keen to broaden your skills across both security and fire systems.
What you will receive
£36,000 – £45,000 basic salary, depending on experience
