The Role:
As our Activities Coordinator Extraordinaire, you’ll be the life and soul of the party, crafting and delivering a whirlwind of social and recreational activities for our wonderful residents. Flexibility is your middle name as you work around their needs, bringing joy and excitement every single day. Got a passion for working with the elderly? Check. Love a good sing-along and dance-off? Your Superpowers:
- Conjure up and launch a dazzling array of activities tailored to our residents’ interests and abilities.
- Host group shindigs and provide one-on-one fun for our residents.
- Adapt activities for residents with dementia – patience and creativity are key!

- Team up with care staff to weave activities into residents’ daily lives.
- Keep track of activities and participation – you’re organized and on the ball.
- Cheer on and support residents, boosting their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
What You Bring:
- Experience in a similar role – you’ve been there, done that, and have the stories to prove it.
- A knack for creating and leading engaging activities for the elderly.
- Experience working with people with dementia – you’re patient, adaptable, and a creative problem-solver.
- Stellar communication and people skills.
- Organizational wizardry and superb time management.
- Independence and teamwork skills – you’re a lone wolf and a pack player.
