Full job description

About the Role

We are looking for a hardworking Labour Groundsworker to join our team. This role involves assisting with general groundwork and labouring duties on construction, landscaping, and maintenance sites.

The successful candidate will support skilled workers, carry out manual labour tasks, and help keep sites clean, safe, and organised. This is a physically demanding outdoor role suited to someone reliable and willing to work as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with groundwork and site preparation
Digging, lifting, loading, and moving materials
Operating basic hand and power tools
Clearing debris and maintaining tidy work areas
Assisting with drainage, paving, fencing, and landscaping tasks
Loading and unloading vehicles and equipment
Following instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople
Adhering to all health and safety procedures on site
Carrying out general labouring duties as required

Requirements

Previous labouring or groundwork experience preferred
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and carry out physical work
Physically fit and capable of manual work
Good timekeeping and reliability
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full UK driving licence preferred
Knowledge of health and safety procedures
CSCS card

Pay: £21.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
