Halfpenny Yard LTD is looking for dependable and caring drivers to join our school transport team from September 2026.
Every school day, our drivers help children travel safely and comfortably between home and school, making a real difference to local families and communities. This is a part-time employed role offering regular hours during the school term, with evenings, weekends, and school holidays completely free.
No previous taxi or school transport experience is required, as full training and licence support will be provided.

The Role
You will safely transport children to and from school on established local routes, helping ensure they arrive on time and in a safe, comfortable environment.
Some routes may include working alongside a passenger assistant, while others are completed independently.
Typical Working Hours
- Morning routes: approximately 7:00am – 9:30am
- Afternoon routes: approximately 2:30pm – 5:00pm
This is a term-time-only position.
