Meadow Bay Villages is a UK based owner and operator of holiday and residential parks, founded by a team with decades of experience in creating memorable guest experiences across the country. From our leadership team to our on-park teams, we are passionate about delivering holidays that offer quality, comfort and genuine hospitality.

Billing Aquadrome is set across 235 acres of the Nene Valley, with excellent catering facilities including a busy recently refurbished onsite restaurant, lakeside café bar & various catering pop ups. A great opportunity to the right person to take charge of a busy central production kitchen.

Reports To: Head of Retail

Job Summary

The Kitchen Manager is responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, safety, and consistency while managing onsite team, stock, and costs. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and the ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities

· Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including cooks, and kitchen assistants

· Oversee food production processes to ensure quality, consistency, and presentation meet company standards

· Manage food preparation and cooking operations efficiently during service hours

· Develop and implement innovative menus in collaboration with Head of Retail

· Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations & hygiene standards at all times

· Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock to minimise waste & control costs

· Train new staff members and provide ongoing development opportunities for existing team members

· Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment in accordance with health and safety legislation

· Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery and Guest satisfaction

Experience

· Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment, ideally in a Kitchen Manager / Head Chef role

· Solid background in food production, and high volume operations

· Demonstrable team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team

· Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations within the hospitality industry

· Experience in high volume food production to agreed specifications

Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is essential.

Leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting
