To provide accurate timekeeping and workforce administration support for offshore and onshore personnel, ensuring that all working hours, rotations, leave, and absence records are maintained within the Quest system. The role supports payroll processing, operational planning, and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate personnel time and attendance records within the Quest workforce management system.
- Process and verify timesheets, shift patterns, rotations, overtime, standby, travel time, and leave records for offshore and onshore employees.
- Ensure all workforce data is entered accurately and in accordance with company procedures and payroll deadlines.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in timekeeping records by liaising with employees, supervisors, offshore management, HR, and payroll teams.
- Provide first-line support to employees and managers on Quest-related queries and system processes.
- Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Quest system processes and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of personnel, payroll, and operational data at all times.
- Work closely with HR, Payroll, Operations, and Offshore Management teams to ensure accurate workforce information is available for business needs.
- Support mobilisation and demobilisation activities by ensuring personnel records and schedules are updated correctly.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in timekeeping, payroll administration, personnel logistics, or workforce administration within the oil and gas, energy, or offshore sector.
- Experience using workforce management, personnel-on-board (POB), or time and attendance systems.
- Understanding of offshore rotations, shift patterns, and workforce planning processes.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage large volumes of data accurately.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and record management.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to liaise with personnel at all levels of the organisation.
- Knowledge of payroll processes and employment legislation is advantageous.
Desirable
- Experience supporting offshore personnel logistics and crew scheduling.
- Knowledge of UK offshore industry practices and workforce compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with payroll interfaces and reporting systems.
- Experience participating in system implementation, testing, or process improvement projects.
