We're looking for an exceptional leader to work alongside our Chief Executive, elected members and senior leadership team to drive transformation, lead organisational change and play a pivotal role in both support Breckland Council through the transition of local government reorganisation and the creation of the future West Norfolk unitary authority.

What you'll be doing
- Shape the future of local government in Norfolk through one of the most significant public sector transformation programmes in a generation.
- Partner with senior leaders by working alongside the Chief Executive, elected members and senior leadership team as a trusted strategic adviser.
- Build strategic relationships across organisations, developing partnerships and momentum behind shared goals.
- Lead transformational change that improves services, strengthens organisational performance and delivers lasting benefits for communities.
- Facilitate strategic conversations that challenge thinking, align priorities and help leaders navigate uncertainty with confidence.
- Drive delivery and momentum by ensuring priorities remain aligned, barriers are removed and progress is maintained.

Experience of large-scale transformation, local government reorganisation or working closely with senior political leadership would be advantageous.

- All employees are eligible to join the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS)
- Paid holiday entitlement starts at 26 days per annum and increases with length of service to a maximum of 33 days per annum. This is pro rata for part-time employees
