We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry and possess excellent bartending skills. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while providing exceptional service and expertly crafted beverages.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to customers in a timely manner.
- Engage with patrons, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours.
- Stay updated on drink recipes, trends, and new products in the industry to enhance guest experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality sector is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and drink measurements.
- A friendly and approachable demeanour with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
