Job purpose
To assist the Property Services Team in the delivery of the planned capital works and PPM programmes by, ensuring all procurement activities and contracts are delivered professionally to time, cost and quality requirements, and promoting and ensure a positive resident experience.
To provide a range of services to deliver a comprehensive service which includes providing professional advice, advisory guidance and services to stakeholders (internal and external) across all activities covered by the role.
To lead on specific projects, schemes, programmes of work and activities ensuring compliance with corporate policies, statute and regulations and RICS standards.
To lead on specification, procurement and delivery of allocated projects. This includes project management of delivery, management of contractors, monitoring and performance management.
To provide a customer focused service for internal and external customers which is focused on excellent delivery, service improvement and maximising efficiency.
To contribute to the delivery of an effective and focused property service (Housing) for the council.

£44,075 - £47,181 (pro-rata, per annum)
Key service related accountabilities
- Support, assist and drive procurement of works, goods and services adhering to the councils Contract Standing Orders and procurement guidelines, UK legislation and EU regulations where these apply
- Lead on preparing specifications, procurement and delivery of capital projects. Ensuring all projects have a formal brief, specifications, procurement plans and tender
