Dental Locum Nurse (Self-Employed)
£20-£22 per hour
Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Sheffield, Rotherham, Chesterfield and surrounding areas in the midlands
Rose Dental Agency is a growing dental nursing agency looking to expand its network of friendly, reliable and professional Dental Nurses.
This role is ideal for nurses looking for occasional or flexible work alongside their current employment, self-employed work, family commitments or other agency roles.
As a growing agency, shift volumes will vary, however we are actively building relationships with practices across the Midlands and are looking for nurses who would like to grow with us.
What we offer:
- £20 per hour Monday-Friday
- £21 per hour for specialist nursing such as orthodontics, oral surgery and implants
- £22 per hour unsociable hours/weekend work
- £22 an hour for sedation nursing
- Flexible work with no minimum commitment

We aim to offer shifts as close to home as possible, although opportunities further afield may be available for nurses willing to travel.
Requirements:
- Current GDC registration
- Enhanced DBS certificate
- Professional indemnity insurance
- CPD up to date
- Hepatitis B vaccination record
- Right to work in the UK
- Self-employed status and responsibility for own tax and National Insurance
- Knowledge of dental software such as Exact, Dentally, R4, CareStack, Software of Excellence or similar
- Strong understanding of infection control and decontamination procedures
- Professional, reliable and patient-focused attitude
Responsibilities:
- Chairside assistance for a range of dental procedures
- Preparation and maintenance of clinical areas
- Instrument decontamination and sterilisation
- Supporting dentists, hygienists and therapists
- Maintaining accurate clinical records
- Delivering excellent patient care
- Adhering to GDC, CQC and infection control standards
