Due to the continued success and expansion plans, Noble Russell Furniture has an exciting opportunity for a Bench Hand Joiner / Cabinet Maker/ Furniture Maker to join their experienced team. Responsibilities:
- Producing products by reading and understanding drawings
- Assembling timber structures in the workshop
- Able to operate Routers, Edge Banders, Planers, Table Saw machines whilst complying with all Health & Safety requirements
- Confidently selecting materials to achieve the most attractive and consistent quality for each product
- Assisting colleagues, working as part of a team to ensure work and production deadlines are met
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bench Hand Joiner/Cabinet Maker/Furniture Maker
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as saws, chisels, and planes
- Familiarity with power tools such as drills, sanders, and routers
- Knowledge of different types of wood and their characteristics
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
The successful applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to create high quality products, by utilising your joinery skills. You will be supported one to one to become familiar with the company's processes and procedures. This would be an ideal role for you if you have worked as a Bench Hand Joiner / Cabinet Maker with a minimum of 5 years experience.
