Lead Cleaning Assistant

£18 per hour + mileage

Part-time with opportunity to grow into a full-time senior position

Simply Elizabeth Cleaning Services is growing and we are looking for the right person to join us.

We are looking for someone who takes genuine pride in their work, enjoys bringing order to a space, notices the little details, and wants to be part of a business that believes cleaning is a skilled profession, not just a task to tick off a list.

This role is about much more than cleaning.

You will work directly alongside the business owner across a variety of homes, holiday lets and hospitality properties, learning our systems, standards and approach to property care.

As the business grows, the successful applicant will gradually take on additional responsibility, including leading jobs, supporting contractors on site, maintaining quality standards and acting as the owner’s representative when required.

We are looking for someone who enjoys responsibility, takes initiative and wants to grow with the business long-term. This is an opportunity to become a key part of a growing local company from an early stage.

The role includes:

Deep cleans
Holiday let and guest-ready preparation
Move-in and move-out cleans
Seasonal and restoration cleans
Preparing properties to consistently high standards
Working across a variety of homes, holiday lets and hospitality properties
Supporting the coordination of contractors on site
Assisting with quality control and property checks
Learning business systems and operational processes

No two weeks are ever quite the same.

Requirements:

Reliable and punctual
Honest and trustworthy
Strong attention to detail
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Confident communicating with contractors and clients when required
Full UK driving licence essential
Previous cleaning experience welcomed but not essential
Able to travel wherever the work requires within our operating area and future expansion areas.
Physically capable of cleaning work, including lifting, bending and being on your feet for extended periods

This role would suit someone looking for more than just a cleaning job.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
