Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual who wishes to move into a 1st Line Support to join our dynamic IT support team. In this role, you will develop to be the first point of contact for users experiencing technical issues, providing exceptional customer service while analysing and resolving problems efficiently. We are open to this role being a trainee position working towards 1st Line support over a period of time. Training will be provided.

Duties

Deliver full IT support services, responding to and resolving technical queries from staff across the business.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
Assist in the installation, configuration, and ongoing support of desktop computers, mobile devices, peripheral equipment, and software in line with company policies.
Administer and maintain a range of software packages used across the business.
Identify areas for system improvement and collaborate with senior management and system providers to implement enhancements.
Ensure seamless integration and connectivity of desktop computers within a complex client-server environment.
Maintain documentation for LAN/WAN infrastructure and assist with telephone cabling and system updates.
Manage ordering and stock of IT equipment and computer supplies as needed.
Working with teams across our offices to provide a high level of customer service

What We’re Looking For:

Ideally an individual with experience in a technical support or IT helpdesk role however we will look at opportunities for a trainee to join the team.
Strong problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
Familiarity with desktop and mobile device environments, including Windows, mobile OS, and networking systems.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to assist staff at all levels.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Pay: £17,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
