Who We Are
Good4U is a passionate, family-run, BRC-accredited business. We specialise in growing sprouted seeds and creating natural, super-nutritious snacks that make a real difference to people’s health. We’ve grown from a local startup to a trusted partner supplying major names like Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Tesco, and Morrisons—and we manage the entire production process seamlessly from our facility right here in Cookstown.
The Role
We are seeking a dynamic, floor-based leader who thrives in the heart of the action. As a Production Supervisor, you will be the driving force of our daily floor operations. You will keep the team motivated, ensure our high quality standards never slip, and oversee the entire lifecycle of our products—from initial planting and harvesting to final packing and pallet building. This is an active, visible role where your presence on the line will directly impact our production success and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead & Motivate: Oversee the daily production schedule, assign clear tasks, and ensure the team hits throughput targets safely and efficiently.
- Hands-on Production: Lead by example. Be ready to step in on the line, operate equipment, and actively assist with packing and loading whenever required.
- Maintain BRC Standards: Take rigorous ownership of daily record-keeping, quality control checks, and food safety standards to safeguard our BRC accreditation.
- Safety & Hygiene: Champion a pristine safety culture. Ensure all team members adhere strictly to safety procedures, PPE, and that machinery is deeply cleaned down at the end of every shift.
- Process Efficiency: Keep a sharp eye out for floor bottlenecks and cooperate with management to reduce waste and streamline line output.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Proven experience working within a fast-paced food production or FMCG environment. Prior supervisory experience is highly preferred.
- Attention to Detail: An exceptional eye for quality and operational standards. You are someone who spots potential errors before they happen and feels comfortable managing compliance paperwork.
- Reliability: A dependable, resilient leader who leads by example and is the person the team can consistently count on.
- Strong Communication: Ability to follow complex production parameters to the letter and clearly cascade operational tasks to a diverse floor team.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary negotiable based on experience.
- A supportive, welcoming, and vibrant family-business culture.
- Genuine opportunities for professional growth and career progression within an expanding company.
