Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Part Time ( 16 Hours) Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our Primary Care Treatment Room. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care within a busy clinical environment, supporting the delivery of effective healthcare services. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work within a supportive team committed to patient wellbeing. The salary range guidance is FTE, therefore will be pro rate to 16 hours

Duties

Deliver comprehensive patient care, including assessment, treatment, and health education.
Administer medications accurately in accordance with prescribed protocols.
Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical histories with attention to detail.
Assist healthcare professionals during examinations and procedures.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with data protection regulations.
Ensure the treatment room is clean, organised, and stocked with necessary supplies at all times.
Support infection control procedures and adhere to health and safety guidelines.
Provide compassionate support to patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout their visit.

Requirements

Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification with valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
Proven experience in patient care within a primary care or similar healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
Competence in medication administration, including injections and wound care.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to empathise with patients of all ages.
Organised, reliable, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
Flexibility to work part-time hours as required, with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient service.

Pay: £31,500.00-£37,000.00 per year

Licence/Certification:

NMC (required)
