Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join our manufacturing team in Dungannon. You will be involved in the fabrication and welding of complete Waste to Energy and Thermal Treatment systems, including loading systems, combustion chambers, ductwork, induced draft fans, pollution control equipment, steel support structures, heat exchangers and associated process plant.
For those who enjoy variety, every project is custom built and presents different fabrication needs and opportunities. The role is primarily workshop-based in Dungannon, with opportunities to support site installations, servicing and repair work on customer projects across the UK and internationally.
What You'll Be Doing
- Fabricating and welding components for bespoke industrial equipment and Waste to Energy systems.
- Reading and working from engineering drawings and fabrication details.
- MIG welding mild steel components.
- Cutting, grinding, drilling, forming and preparing materials.
- Measuring, marking out and assembling fabricated parts to required tolerances.
- Carrying out quality inspections and ensuring a high standard of workmanship.
- Supporting mechanical assembly and fitting activities.
- Assisting with site installations, maintenance and repair work when required.
- Working safely and maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
What We're Looking For
- Ideally, you will have previous experience in fabrication and MIG welding within an engineering, manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong MIG welding and fabrication skills.
- Experience working with mild steel.
- Good practical problem solving ability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Interest in occasional opportunities to support installations and site work.
- Pride in producing high quality work.
Desirable Skills
- Stainless steel fabrication experience.
- TIG welding experience.
- MMA or coded welding experience.
- Experience manufacturing industrial plant.
- Previous installation or maintenance experience within industrial environments.
- Forklift, crane or lifting equipment experience.
