AJS Promotions is the team behind the Spring Farm Machinery Shows and a growing portfolio of industry events.
We're looking for an ambitious and creative Marketing Executive to take the lead on the marketing, promotion and audience growth of our events portfolio.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys creating campaigns, building communities, generating excitement around events and bringing brands to life.
While the primary focus of the role will be AJS Promotions, there will also be opportunities to support marketing initiatives, activations and growth projects across Oatco Superfuel, one of Ireland's fastest growing natural energy snack brands.
For the right person, this role offers genuine opportunity to grow with the business and become a key part of our future leadership team.
What You'll Be Doing: Event Marketing & Audience Growth
- Lead the marketing and promotion of the Spring Farm Machinery Shows, Omagh Show and future events
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns to increase attendance and engagement
- Manage social media, email marketing and event communications
- Create content that builds excitement before, during and after events
- Develop visitor engagement campaigns and community initiatives
- Work with exhibitors, sponsors and partners to maximise event exposure
Events & Partnerships
- Support the planning and delivery of events
- Coordinate exhibitor communications and marketing materials
- Develop relationships with industry organisations and partners
- Identify opportunities for collaborations, promotions and partnerships
- Assist with event day marketing and visitor experience
Oatco Support
- Support selected marketing campaigns and activations across Oatco Superfuel
- Assist with content creation, partnerships and community initiatives
- Support key launches, sampling events and promotional campaigns where required
What We're Looking For
- Experience in marketing, events, communications or content creation
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative thinker with a passion for building brands and communities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Self motivated and able to take ownership
- Positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
Experience In Any Of The Following Would Be Beneficial:
- Events
- Marketing
- Social Media
- PR
- Community Engagement
However, attitude, creativity and drive are more important than industry experience.
What Success Looks Like
In your first 12 months you will:
- Increase attendance across our event portfolio
- Improve audience engagement and event awareness
- Deliver successful marketing campaigns for major events
- Build stronger relationships with partners and exhibitors
- Become a key contributor to the continued growth of AJS Promotions
- Support impactful marketing initiatives across Oatco Superfuel

Qualifications
- Proven experience in marketing management or related roles with a strong understanding of B2B marketing principles.
- Proficiency in SEO techniques, Google Ads, Google Analytics, and email marketing platforms.
- Skilled in Adobe Photoshop, WordPress, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant IT tools.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Strong analysis skills to interpret data insights and optimise campaigns accordingly.
- Exceptional copywriting abilities coupled with creative thinking for content development across diverse channels.
- Effective social media management skills across platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and coordinate efforts efficiently.
- Outstanding communication skills in English, both written and verbal with a professional demeanour.
