Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Dentist specialising in Periodontics to join our dental practice as a Specialist Periodontist. The successful candidate will possess a strong interest in advanced periodontal treatments and have a comprehensive understanding of dental anatomy and medical imaging. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide specialised care, utilise cutting-edge technology, and contribute to patient wellbeing within a professional and supportive environment. Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat complex periodontal conditions, including gum disease and tissue regeneration procedures
Utilise CAD software for treatment planning and patient education purposes
Conduct thorough assessments of dental anatomy to inform precise treatment strategies
Interpret medical imaging such as X-rays and 3D scans to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
Develop customised treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, ensuring optimal outcomes
Collaborate with general dentists and other specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care
Maintain detailed records of treatments, progress notes, and patient communications in compliance with regulatory standards
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in periodontics, dental technology, and related fields through continuous professional development

Skills

Extensive knowledge of dental anatomy and proficiency in interpreting medical imaging techniques
Experience with CAD software for designing surgical guides or treatment plans is highly desirable
Strong clinical skills in periodontal therapy, including surgical procedures and tissue management
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently
Effective communication skills to educate patients about their conditions and proposed treatments
Commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth within the field of periodontics
