This additional role reflects our ambition to further improve presentation standards, increase the resources available to deliver key projects, and support the continued development of one of Kent’s premier golf courses.

About the Club
Founded in 1894, Chislehurst Golf Club is a friendly private members’ club with a classic 18-hole parkland course, rich in history and character. While we respect the heritage of the course, we’re equally focused on its future - investing, improving, and evolving.
The Role
As Assistant Greenkeeper, you’ll be involved in all aspects of golf course maintenance, working both independently and as part of the team to present the course to a high standard year-round.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Enthusiastic, hardworking and highly motivated
- Comfortable working on their own initiative and as part of a close-knit team
- Proud of their work and keen to keep learning
Ideally, you’ll have:
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar greenkeeping environment
- NVQ Level 2 in Sports Turf (or equivalent)
- A keen interest in golf (preferred but not essential)
PA1, PA2 & PA6 spraying certificates and chainsaw qualifications would be an advantage, but training can be provided for the right candidate.
Working Pattern & Package
- 40 hours per week
- 1 in 3 weekend mornings on a rota basis
- Flexibility required during the summer months and around major competitions
- Full staff uniform and PPE provided
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience, in line with BIGGA recommendations
