Full job description

Have you ever worked in the fast-paced logistics environment? Do you have experience in transport, but want new challenge where you can further develop your skills and knowledge?

Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for the full-time, permanent Transport Administrator to join our team in Normanton for our customer, NHS Supply Chain.

You will be working on a shift pattern of Sunday – Thursday with the hours of 22:00 – 06:00.

What you will do on a typical day:

Contribute to the smooth and efficient operational activities within the traffic office
Ensure that all transport administration is accurate, up to date, as legally required
Complete driver pre-briefs and de-briefs and all daily reports by the end of each shift
Provide and maintain efficient and effective clerical support for the traffic office as required

What you need to succeed at GXO:

Ability to work on own initiative and to prioritise workload
Computer literate and good standard of education
Proven track record of working within a transport operation
Customer orientated with a good attention to detail
