VEHICLE TECHNICIAN / MECHANIC
Noya Motor Group is seeking an experienced and reliable Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our busy workshop team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out vehicle servicing, repairs, diagnostics, PDI inspections and general maintenance across a wide range of vehicle makes and models. The role requires a high standard of workmanship, strong diagnostic ability and the capability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
Duties will include servicing and maintaining vehicles, carrying out repairs to braking systems, suspension components, clutches, cambelts and exhaust systems, as well as undertaking fault finding and electrical diagnostics where required. You will be expected to identify defects accurately, complete repairs to manufacturer standards and ensure all vehicles are prepared to a high retail standard prior to delivery.
The role will involve the use of diagnostic equipment and workshop systems to identify mechanical and electrical faults, as well as maintaining accurate records of all work completed. You will work closely with management and colleagues to ensure vehicles are completed within agreed timescales and workshop efficiency is maintained.
Applicants should be confident working independently and as part of a team, with previous experience in a similar role. Experience using AutoData or similar workshop software would be advantageous, although training can be provided where necessary.
A full UK driving licence is required, with no more than six penalty points. An NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, City & Guilds qualification, or equivalent industry-recognised qualification would be preferred but is not essential for the right candidate with relevant experience.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm, with every other Saturday required, and a one-hour unpaid lunch break each day.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and professional motor retailer where quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction remain at the forefront of everything we do.
