Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and attention to detail. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your technical skills in a dynamic environment, contributing to high-quality projects across various sectors. Candidates should possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with welding and fabrication processes, and the ability to work safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding.
Fabricate metal components according to technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts.
Read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
Assist in the assembly of fabricated components into finished products or structures.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Conduct quality checks on welded and fabricated parts to ensure compliance with standards.
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and production targets.

Experience

Proven experience in MIG welding.
Hands-on experience with fabrication involving sheet metal and the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
Familiarity with reading technical drawings is essential.
Previous experience working in a manufacturing or workshop environment is preferred but not essential for highly motivated candidates willing to learn. This role requires a proactive approach, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety standards.

Pay: £12.30-£15.00 per hour
