Full job description

Hours of Work: Monday-Thursday 18:00-6:00

Job Purpose:

In this role, you will be required to manufacture PVC frames through the production line to provide high quality products to internal and external customers.

Key Accountabilities:

Working in a small team within all sections on the production floor to include machine shop, welding, fitting and glazing.
Using air powered tools to secure hardware to the frame.
Use of self-standing windows fabrication machinery.
Rotating section work to ensure multi skilled working and provide cover for staff absences
To provide high quality standards throughout the build
Ability to lift up to 25kg on own. Above this weight additional personnel will be provided as in line with Health & Safety standards
Adherence to all organisational policies, management systems and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality.

Role Requirements:

Previous experience within a manufacturing environment would be an advantage, but not essential
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail

Effective communication – Clear concise written and spoken, ability at all levels, customer, supplier and internal
Strategic agility – recognition of a changing need and speed of response, rapid reaction to challenges
