We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Motor Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in vehicle repair and maintenance. Duties
- Diagnose faults using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre replacements
- Repair and replace faulty components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Conduct comprehensive equipment repairs to ensure safety and efficiency
- Assemble new parts or components as required for vehicle repair or maintenance tasks
- Utilise welding skills for structural repairs or modifications
- Interpret technical diagrams and schematics to facilitate accurate repairs
- Assist with heavy lifting of vehicle parts or machinery as needed
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs and maintenance activities for each vehicle or piece of equipment
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and offering advice on vehicle care
