About Vet3D
Vet3D is a specialist company at the forefront of patient-specific surgical solutions for veterinary orthopaedics and neurosurgery. We plan, design, and produce bespoke surgical guides and implants, helping veterinary surgeons achieve better outcomes in some of the most complex procedures in animal healthcare.
We’re a small, dedicated team based in Kendal, Cumbria, working at the intersection of cutting-edge engineering and clinical veterinary practice. As we grow, we’re looking to build on that expertise with a stronger marketing presence.
The Role
We’ve recently engaged an external marketing consultant to develop our marketing strategy, and we’re now looking for a Marketing Executive to be responsible for delivering it and bringing the strategy to life. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role. You’ll be responsible for creating content, managing our social media, running email campaigns, producing case studies, and making sure Vet3D shows up strongly at industry events.
This is a one-day-per-week, on-site role, ideal for someone who wants meaningful, varied work in a specialist field without a full-time commitment. You’ll work closely with our team to deliver marketing activity that genuinely reflects the quality and innovation of what we do.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Creating and scheduling social media content that showcases our work, expertise, and clinical outcomes
- Writing and distributing newsletters and email campaigns through Mailchimp
- Developing case studies in collaboration with our engineering and clinical teams
- Managing client communications and marketing announcements
- Planning, coordinating and advertising our presence at veterinary conferences and CPD events, from pre-event promotion and logistics through to lead capture, follow-up and ROI tracking
- Monitoring performance across channels using Google Analytics and social media insights
- Producing graphics and visual assets using Canva or similar tools
- Keeping all activity aligned with the marketing strategy
What We’re Looking For
We’re open to candidates coming from a marketing background with a genuine interest in the veterinary world, or someone from a veterinary background who has developed strong marketing and communications skills. What matters most is that you can create great content, work independently, and care about doing things properly.
Requirements:
- Experience in a marketing, content, or communications role
- Confidence using Mailchimp, Canva, and Google Analytics
- Strong written skills and an eye for detail
- The ability to manage your own workload within a one-day-per-week structure
- A collaborative approach - you’ll be working with a small team and an external consultant
Desirable:
- A background in the veterinary sector
- Experience with event coordination or show marketing
- Photography, video, or multimedia content skills
- Flexibility to increase hours if required
