The Role

Due to continued demand, we are seeking a time-served Fabricator / Welder to join our busy workshop team in Newburgh.

The successful candidate will be able to work from detailed engineering drawings and will have a good understanding of fabrication workshop machinery and processes. You will take pride in producing high-quality work, working safely and efficiently as part of a skilled team.

Previous experience of MIG and TIG welding processes is preferred; however, training can be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Fabricate and weld components from detailed engineering drawings.
Carry out MIG and TIG welding activities where required.
Operate fabrication workshop machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
Produce work to a high standard of quality and accuracy.
Maintain a safe and organised working environment.
Work effectively as part of the workshop team.

Skills & Experience

Essential

Time-served Fabricator / Welder.
Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
Good working knowledge of fabrication shop machinery and processes.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Reliable, conscientious and safety focused.

Desirable

Previous MIG and TIG welding experience.
Welding qualifications or coding experience.
