Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and reliable Taxi Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation services to our customers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. This role involves navigating urban and suburban areas, ensuring punctuality, and maintaining a high standard of vehicle safety and cleanliness. The position offers an opportunity to work flexible hours while delivering exceptional service in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Safely operate the taxi vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations promptly and courteously.
Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or heavy items when necessary.
Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle to ensure optimal operation.
Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes or local attractions as needed.
Keep accurate records of trips, fares, and mileage for reporting purposes.
Conduct routine safety checks before each shift to ensure vehicle roadworthiness.
Follow company policies and procedures to deliver consistent, high-quality service.

Experience

Proven experience as a driver, preferably with commercial driving or delivery driver background.
A council badge is required.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with passenger transport is advantageous. We also offer an assistance in getting a license.
Knowledge of local roads, traffic patterns, and navigation systems.
Experience handling heavy lifting or assisting passengers with mobility needs is desirable.
Strong communication skills to interact professionally with diverse customers.
Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge to identify minor issues and ensure safety standards are met. This role offers an engaging opportunity for individuals committed to providing excellent customer service while maintaining high safety standards on the road.

WHAT ARE WE OFFERING

Work on a 20% commission basis if you are driving your own car.
Choose your own shifts.
Flexible working hours.
Drive a company car on 60/40 split.
