Are you an experienced Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC) professional looking to step off the tools and shape the next generation of engineers? Or are you an established instructor looking for a rewarding role in a top-tier training environment?
We are seeking a knowledgeable and engaging F-Gas Teacher and Assessor to lead our City & Guilds 2079-11 F-Gas and ODS regulations training.
Based at our St Ives centre, you will guide learners from diverse industry backgrounds through the essential theory and practical skills required for legal, safe, and environmentally responsible refrigerant handling.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality classroom theory (thermodynamics, environmental impacts, and UK regulations) and practical workshop sessions (refrigerant recovery, leak detection, pressure testing, and pipework brazing).
Stay ahead of industry shifts, incorporating industry updates into the curriculum ensuring current industry knowledge is delivered.
Act as the primary assessor for Category 1–4 practical exams, mark theoretical papers, and maintain rigorous, audit-ready compliance records in line with City & Guilds standards.
Manage workshop safety, equipment calibration, and inventory compliance—including cylinder tracking and legal waste disposal for OFN and refrigerants.
