Full job description

Metal Sheet Fabricator trainee
An exciting new position to join our growing business, we manufacture metal façades and roofing systems supplying to the construction industry across the UK and sometimes further afield.

Seeking a highly motivated individual with a desire to learn sheet metal fabrication. The successful candidate would ideally have some engineering or experience of working within a workshop environment. The successful candidate will be expected to work to existing members of staff to produce high quality products.

We are looking for a hardworking and dedicated individual who gains job satisfaction from working in a small team environment seeing their input help drive and develop the business.

Machines we operate include press-brakes, folders, CNC punches, guillotines, and other specialist machinery. We also complete inhouse Welding of mainly aluminium/steel products.

Based in Peterborough we have recently moved into larger premises in Woodston Peterborough area which was part of our ever growing future expansion plans.

The successful candidate will:

Have some engineering/workshop experince.
kean to learn in house machinery including press-brakes, folders, guillotines, CNC Punches.
Reporting directly to the workshop supervisor.
Be organised, tidy and methodical.
Be punctual and reliable.
Be enthusiastic, self-motivated and work well in a team.
Competent in problem-solving.
Excellent communication skills.

40.75 Hours per week (Monday to Friday), plus overtime

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £12.50 per hour

Peterborough PE2 7BF: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
