The role is temporary, based in Eltisley and the surrounding land farmed by G.W. Topham & Son. Standard hours will be 7am to 4pm Monday to Friday. During the harvest there will be the possibility of longer working days, potentially a 7 day working week. This will be dictated & determined by workload & weather conditions during the harvest period.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Daily maintenance checks
- Tractor & Trailer work
- To work in accordance with our maintenance and health & safety procedures
- Potentially some post-harvest fieldwork & cultivations
Skills and qualifications
- Full clean driving licence
Person specification
- Highly motivated
- Good experience of safety operating tractors, trailers and arable equipment
- Previous harvest experience preferable
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent timekeeping
