We are looking for a QC Inspector to join our GT Aero team in Aberdeen.

Job Responsibilities:
Perform bulk and detail strip inspections of gas turbines and provide comprehensive defect reports
Carry out stage inspections during engine builds to ensure compliance with quality standards
Maintain and control workshop Control Order Files and associated documentation
Ensure all measuring equipment is calibrated, certified, and aligned with Quality Management System requirements
Assist with shipping and receipt of materials to and from approved vendors, expediting sub-con activities efficiently
Job Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar inspection or mechanical quality role, ideally within a gas turbine environment
Proven ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings and illustrated parts catalogues
Working knowledge of industrial or power gas turbines and associated components
A minimum of NC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; HNC is preferred (or suitable proven experience in lieu of formal qualifications)
Strong organisational skills and ability to work collaboratively with workshop and quality teams
