Edouard Group Limited is looking to recruit a Trainee Workshop Technician.
We are offering an opportunity for someone to join our team as Trainee Workshop Technician at our Aberdeen workshop.
A bit about us
Edouard Group Limited is one of the longest established service companies to the energy industries, supplying all the leading testing companies and exporting to more than 40 countries all over the world since 1985!
We supply hydraulic fittings, tubing, hammer unions and pressure gauges. Our pressure testing rental department design and manufacture quality, reliable, certified pressure testing equipment and we also offer repairs and recalibration for pressure test equipment and services.
The role
This vacancy is an exciting opportunity for someone to learn a new trade whilst gaining valuable experience in an established and successful organisation.
On-the-job training is provided in our fully equipped workshop, therefore no previous experience in this field is required, we will teach you everything you need to know!
You will learn how to:
· Understand and follow work procedures and safety standards for pressure testing.
· Understand and follow work procedures and national standards for calibration.
· Service, repair, build and calibrate pressure gauges, recorders, temperature recorders, air driven pumps, PRVS, manifolds and hoses for both Edouard Group and third-party customer owned equipment.
· Use hydraulic dead weight testers and digital pneumatic calibrators.
All under the supervision of one of our skilled Engineers.
The role will require communication with our customers; therefore, a good level of customer service experience is a requirement.
Hours: 40 hours per week 8am – 5pm with an hour lunch break.
What we need from you
If you’re self-motivated, eager to learn, mechanically minded, and able to meet tight deadlines, this could be the role for you. Strong attention to detail and good housekeeping skills are essential. A driving licence would be an advantage but is not required.
